I'm Cate.
I was born in Sussex (leafy, wholesome, bit boring), grew up in Norway (socialism, stoicism and salt liquorice. Oh and rain) then spent 3 years at Art College in Cheltenham (poor, parties, weird posh people in tweed), before heading to London to make it as a creative.
That was 10 years ago.
EXPERIENCE
I started out in digital and direct agencies before spending 6 years in a more traditional ATL role at FCB Inferno. I've worked as one half of a team and on my own, and love both in different ways. I am now proud to call myself a truly integrated creative. And even prouder to call myself a copywriter.
After an amazing year travelling round the world, I started freelancing… and went straight back to FCB where I was lucky enough to spend another 18 months.
